Cancer Research UK

The following letter was received from Peter Tomlinson, on behalf of Cancer Research UK

Dear Jo
Would you please convey my formal thanks on behalf of the Wyre Forest branch of the Cancer Research Committee to all the members of the Worcestershire Centre of the Caravan Club for their tremendous achievement in raising the sum of £3000 for CRUK. This was an amazing sum of money to have collected and I know that many hours have been spent by many of your friends in the club in coming up with new ideas to stimulate friends, family, work colleagues and anyone else you could think of, to give of their hard earned money. It is not easy in this difficult economic climate and highly competitive charity sector with everyone after your money (all with excellent reasons for parting it from you), to raise such a sum as you have achieved. Many, many thanks and hearty congratulations for your success. I really couldn’t quite believe it when you announced the amount on Saturday evening. No wonder you wanted to keep it a secret!
We wish you and all the members of the club a very Happy Christmas and a Peaceful New Year. Please feel free to stay in touch with CRUK. May the sun shine on all your caravanning activities in 2016!
Kindest regards.
